I’ve been seeing highly targeted ads showing up in my Facebook Timeline… while this is a little irritating because my timeline is no longer “pure” I don’t mind it too much yet. I was looking for hotels in Union City yesterday and today I’m seeing an ad from Hotels.com for guess what? That is right…. hotels in Union City! Here is what it looked like on my timeline:

It looks like something I’ll be experimenting with myself shortly for a couple clients. I’ll let you know how it goes! We’ve tried Google’s Remarkting before without much luck… very low conversions. I’d guess these timeline ads would also deliver quite low quality conversion ratios.  Time will tell.
